Overview

Get317 ("we," "us") operates a digital marketplace connecting customers with independent Nigerian and West-African kitchens across Indianapolis. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored as a hashed value by our authentication provider).

Order information: delivery name, phone number, and delivery address you enter at checkout, plus the items and total for each order.

Device information: we send push notifications to your device when you have them enabled and are logged in, to keep you updated on order status.

Payment information: card details are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Get317 never sees or stores your full card number.

How We Use Your Information

To prepare and deliver your orders, share the relevant details with the fulfilling kitchen and the delivery courier.

To send order-status updates by push notification and, where applicable, email.

To provide order history in your account and to operate the platform securely.

To send a consolidated sales report to our internal team for orders we receive.

Third-Party Services

Stripe processes all payments. Your card data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Shipday coordinates delivery dispatch. The pickup address, delivery address, and your phone number are shared with the assigned driver to complete delivery.

OpenStreetMap Nominatim is used to geocode your delivery address for distance-based fee calculation.

Data Retention

We keep your order history for as long as your account is active so you can reference past deliveries.

When you delete your account, we dissociate your identity from your order records and deactivate the account. Order history is retained in an anonymized form for internal record-keeping but is no longer linked to you.

Your Rights & Account Deletion

You can view your order history at any time from your account page.

You can permanently delete your account from the Account page by choosing "Delete account." This action cannot be undone.

To request access to or correction of your personal data, contact our support team.

Children's Privacy

Get317 is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
