Overview

Get317 LLC ("we," "us") operates GET317, an Indianapolis-based marketplace for local restaurant ordering and package delivery. Taste of Africa is a registered DBA associated with our business. GET317 is the customer-facing name used in transactional text messages.

By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored as a hashed value by our authentication provider).

Order information: delivery name, phone number, and delivery address you enter at checkout, plus the items and total for each order.

Device and communication information: we send push notifications when enabled and send optional transactional SMS order updates only when you expressly opt in at checkout. Our separate SMS Club has its own marketing opt-in process.

Payment information: card details are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Get317 LLC never sees or stores your full card number.

How We Use Your Information

To prepare and deliver your orders, share the relevant details with the fulfilling kitchen and the delivery courier.

To send order-status updates by push notification, email, and optional transactional SMS. You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.

To provide order history in your account and to operate the platform securely.

To send a consolidated sales report to our internal team for orders we receive.

Mobile Messaging, Consent, and Data Sharing

GET317 transactional SMS is optional. At food checkout or sender package checkout, you may affirmatively select a separate, unchecked SMS consent checkbox. Consent is not a condition of purchasing food or delivery services. Messages may cover payment, restaurant acceptance, preparation, pickup readiness, driver assignment, delivery progress, cancellations, and other order updates.

Message frequency varies with order activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. You may continue placing orders without subscribing to SMS.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone information or SMS opt-in/consent information with third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. We share mobile contact and SMS consent information only with service providers, such as messaging carriers and platforms, when necessary to provide the messaging services you requested. SMS consent is not transferred to independent restaurants for their own marketing.

Separate consent is required for promotional messages from the GET317 SMS Club; consenting to transactional updates does not enroll you in marketing messages.

Third-Party Services

Stripe processes all payments. Your card data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Shipday coordinates delivery dispatch. The pickup address, delivery address, and your phone number are shared with the assigned driver to complete delivery.

Telnyx processes optional transactional SMS order updates; Twilio may be used as a fallback SMS provider. We disclose only the mobile contact details and message data necessary to provide requested messaging services. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

OpenStreetMap Nominatim is used to geocode your delivery address for distance-based fee calculation.

Data Retention

We keep your order history for as long as your account is active so you can reference past deliveries.

When you delete your account, we dissociate your identity from your order records and deactivate the account. Order history is retained in an anonymized form for internal record-keeping but is no longer linked to you.

Your Rights & Account Deletion

You can view your order history at any time from your account page.

You can permanently delete your account from the Account page by choosing "Delete account." This action cannot be undone.

To request access to or correction of your personal data, contact our support team.

Children's Privacy

Get317 is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
